Project Manager IIIPosition OverviewWe're looking for a Project Manager to lead technology and innovation initiatives. You'll own the delivery of projects that span retail systems implementation, AI-powered customer experiences, and customer journey design translating strategic intent into shipped outcomes in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end project delivery for large, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines and budgets.Define project scope, objectives, success criteria and deliverables; maintain a clear change control process to manage scope adjustments.Develop and maintain detailed schedules and resource plans using MS Project, Primavera P6 or equivalent; produce and maintain Gantt charts.Manage project budgets, perform cost control and forecasting, and apply Earned Value Management (EVM) to track performance.Identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues; maintain a risk register and implement contingency plans.Coordinate requirements gathering and business analysis activities to ensure solutions meet stakeholder needs and acceptance criteria.Oversee vendor and contract management activities, including procurement, SOWs, vendor performance and SLA management.Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban) and/or Waterfall stage gates as appropriate; adopt hybrid approaches to suit project needs.Collaborate with QA, test management and release management teams to ensure successful deployments and maintain quality standards.Work with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate delivery pipelines and support CI/CD practices where applicable.Establish and maintain project governance, RACI matrices and decision forums to ensure clear accountability.Prepare regular status reports and executive summaries using reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) and present progress to stakeholders and sponsors.QualificationsBachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.5+ years of experience in project or program management within a technology, consumer electronics, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) retail, or ultra premium hotelier environment. Demonstrated experience managing technology implementation projects (e.g., system rollouts, platform migrations, or technology-driven process transformations).Proven competence with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, MS Project, Wrike, or equivalent) and productivity suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365). Track record of taking defined business strategy and driving it through execution to final delivery.Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with multiple concurrent workstreams.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with retail technology systems (POS, ERP, CRM, AV, or in-store demo platforms). Exposure to AI/ML product implementation or technology innovation projects. Background in retail operations or strong working knowledge of retail operational processes (SOPs, store workflows, frontline communications). MBA or advanced degree. PMP, Agile, or equivalent project/program management certification. Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools in daily work to boost personal and team productivity. Experience creating store-team-facing communications (e.g., briefings, FAQs, playbooks).In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
