A Hotel Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and cleaning the hotel's complimentary breakfast service, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. Key duties include preparing food, replenishing buffet items, clearing tables, maintaining sanitation, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires early morning shifts, attention to detail, and compliance with health regulations. Core Responsibilities Setup & Service: Prepare the breakfast area, including setting up buffet stations, coffee machines, and, if applicable, cooking simple items like eggs or waffles. Replenishing & Monitoring: Keep food, beverages, and supplies stocked throughout the service period, ensuring food is fresh. Cleanliness & Sanitation: Maintain a clean dining area, including wiping tables, cleaning spills, and sweeping/mopping floors. Adhere to all safety and food handling regulations. Guest Service: Greet guests, assist with inquiries, and address any complaints or needs promptly. Breakdown: Properly store or dispose of food items, sanitize equipment, and clean the area after breakfast hours. Requirements Experience: Previous customer service, food service, or hotel experience is generally preferred. Skills: Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail. Physical: Ability to stand for long periods and lift, push, or pull heavy items. Certification: Food handler certification may be required.
