Job Description Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year, depending on experienceJob SummaryWe are looking for a skilled, hands-on Residential Handyman / Property Improvement Lead to help manage and complete residential repairs, renovations, remodels, and general property improvement projects.This role is ideal for someone with strong practical construction experience who can work independently, solve problems on-site, and complete a wide variety of hands-on tasks. The right candidate should be comfortable performing the work directly while also coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and ownership when needed.The person in this position will be expected to actively complete repairs, improvements, punch-list items, remodel work, finish work, and general construction tasks.ResponsibilitiesComplete hands-on residential repairs, maintenance, and improvement projectsPerform general handyman work, including basic carpentry, repairs, drywall, painting, hardware installation, punch work, and minor remodel tasksAssist with renovations, remodels, additions, and property upgradesTroubleshoot issues on-site and determine practical repair solutionsComplete or assist with framing, finish carpentry, trim work, doors, cabinets, flooring, and general construction tasksCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and schedules when neededRead and follow scopes of work, project notes, basic plans, and construction documentsMonitor quality, workmanship, and job progressKeep projects moving efficiently and communicate delays or issues promptlyMaintain safe, clean, and organized work areasCommunicate professionally with ownership, clients, crews, and subcontractorsSupport project closeout, final punch lists, and quality checksQualifications5+ years of hands-on residential construction, handyman, maintenance, or remodeling experienceStrong practical repair and construction skillsExperience with residential repairs, remodels, renovations, and property maintenanceAbility to complete work independently with minimal supervisionStrong finish work, carpentry, and detail-oriented repair experience preferredWorking knowledge of residential construction methods, tools, materials, and quality standardsAbility to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutionsExperience coordinating with subcontractors or vendors preferredAbility to read basic plans, scopes of work, and construction notesStrong communication, organization, and time-management skillsValid driver's license and reliable transportationPreferred QualificationsExperience with finish work in custom homes, rental properties, remodels, or residential property improvement projectsBasic estimating or materials budgeting experienceKnowledge of permitting, inspections, and code complianceAbility to manage multiple repair or improvement projects at onceExperience leading small crews or coordinating subcontractorsWhat We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is reliable, skilled, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
