Support Service Counselor 1

DescriptionProvide people with opportunities for financial independence and success by supplying assistance with financial planning, credit coaching, budgeting, business counseling, home ownership guidance, foreclosure prevention and money management, and business and first-time homebuyer educational workshops.RequirementsMeet and determine the eligibility of potential participants applying to receive assistance.Accurately input all client data information in the database.Provide excellent customer service.Schedule Housing Counselor appointmentsPrepare files for Housing CounselorsSchedule and participate in scheduled workshops and event planning.Manage accurate and timely data entry for client tracking.Maintain client file organization and maintenance.Perform administrative functions, including copying, filing, mailing, and emailing.Maintain detailed and complete case notes on each client.Run a client credit report and answer basic credit questions.Remain updated and apprised of market/program changes.Other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsAA Degree or at least two years experience in asset development activities.Two years of experience in housing, credit, budget, and business counseling.2 years of experience in group presentations.Excellent public speaking, administrative, and computer skills.
