Assembler Inspector

In this role, you will oversee the operation of injection molding machinery, ensuring that plastic components are manufactured efficiently and safely in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures. Core Responsibilities Monitor machinery for signals indicating that clamps have opened or parts are ready for removal, manually extracting items from tracks or conveyors to ensure continuous production flow. Ensure seamless transitions between shifts by relieving the outgoing press operator without interrupting ongoing manufacturing activities. Follow established Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the correct handling, assembly, and packaging of all produced parts. Perform thorough visual and tactile inspections of molded components to identify surface flaws like cracks or discoloration, reporting any quality concerns to management to help maintain high production standards. Complete the finishing process for molded items by trimming flash, removing sprues, utilizing punch or drill presses, and performing necessary assembly tasks. Maintain accurate production and scrap documentation to help the team track output and material usage effectively. Prepare finished goods for storage or distribution by counting, boxing, and labeling items to ensure organized inventory management. Keep your workspace clean and organized to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team. Follow all company safety protocols and procedures to help foster a secure workplace for everyone. Perform additional tasks as required by the business. Candidate Qualifications Prior experience in a similar role for one to two years is preferred. Consistent adherence to company attendance policies is required. Ability to interpret oral and visual instructions and maintain clear communication with supervisors and peers. Strong attention to detail paired with effective organizational and interpersonal skills. Physical capability to perform movements such as bending, reaching, lifting, squatting, and kneeling, as well as standing or sitting for extended shifts. Capacity to work in high-temperature environments, as the facility is not climate-controlled and involves proximity to heating equipment. Ability to regularly lift or transport items weighing up to 35 pounds. Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and management may assign additional duties based on operational needs. Essential functions and overtime requirements may fluctuate depending on specific assignments. Schedule Details 1st shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm, with mandatory Saturday overtime. 2nd shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 11:00pm, with mandatory Saturday overtime. 3rd shift: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00pm to 7:00am, with mandatory Friday overtime. Compensation 1st shift: $15.00/hr, with overtime pay at $22.50/hr. 2nd & 3rd shifts: $15.50/hr, with overtime pay at $23.25/hr.
