Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary:The Manufacturing Engineer supports production by learning to maintain andimprove processes using troubleshooting and basic manufacturing tools. This rolewill help research and apply new technologies to increase efficiency, productquality, and equipment reliability. The position is designed for early-careerengineers who are eager to learn, grow their technical skills, and collaborateeffectively with cross-functional teams.The work required is often hands-on, involving interaction with shop floorpersonnel as well as engineering and manufacturing groups to ensure effectiveprocess improvement plans are developed and implemented.Essential Functions:Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledgeof product design, materials and parts, tooling and production equipmentcapabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.Collaborates with planning and design engineering concerning product designand tooling to ensure efficient production methods.Arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluateproducts according to specifications and quality standards.Creating and releasing engineering drawings through Engineering Changeprocesses.Creating and maintaining work procedures.Design and build test fixtures for wire harnesses, electrical switches, andmechanical testing.Learning & Development:Structured growth: Position with a clear path for advancement within theengineering team.Learning-focused: Hands-on training, mentorship, and guidance provided tohelp you develop skills at a comfortable pace.Opportunities for advancement: As experience and capabilities grow,additional responsibilities and promotions become available.Required Skills/Qualifications:3D Modeling - PTC Creo - Willing to train applicants who have alternative3D modeling experience.Ability to independently identify problems and effectively offer solutions.Excellent communication skills.Desired Skills/Qualifications:Speak SpanishKnowledge of common materials - Steel, Copper and Aluminum AlloysCorrosion causes and preventionExperience with mills, lathes, and other shop toolsDesign techniques for 3D PrintingUnderstanding of Injection MoldingCNC ProgrammingEqual Opportunity Employer - Disabled and Veteran
