PGS Worldwide is seeking a Sub-Assembly Assembler in Orlando, FL for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role builds and wires sub-assemblies such as power distribution load boxes, control/communication panels, joysticks, and related mechanical assemblies. You will read blueprints/schematics/BOMs, install electrical and mechanical components, perform wiring and crimping work, complete inspections, and document results in an MRP system while supporting 6S/Kaizen continuous improvement. Required Skills High school diploma1-3 years of hands-on assembly experience (aerospace, defense, industrial, or automotive)Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and bills of materials (BOMs)Experience building and wiring sub-assemblies (e.g., panels, load boxes, joysticks, mechanical assemblies)Proficiency routing, dressing, stripping, and crimping wiresProficiency with solderingProficiency using torque toolsAbility to perform functional and workmanship inspectionsExperience documenting work and results in work orders within an MRP systemFamiliarity with basic continuous improvement methods (6S/Kaizen)Reliable attendance, teamwork, clear communication, safety compliance, and a proactive attitude toward learning and process improvement Preferred Skills Associate's degreeIPC-610OSHA 10 What You'll Do Build and wire assemblies such as power distribution load boxes, control/communication panels, joysticks, and related mechanical assembliesInstall components including LEDs, push buttons, switches, handles, and fastenersRoute, dress, strip, and crimp wiring to workmanship standardsPerform functional and workmanship inspections and record resultsDocument completed work in work orders within the MRP systemParticipate in 6S/Kaizen activities and support continuous improvement initiatives Job ID: 20621 "Military veterans and transitioning military members are encouraged to apply to all PGS Worldwide positions.
