We invite you to become part of our team that always puts our patients needs first.We offer competitive wages and a great benefit package.Responsibilities:Provides direct nursing care to an assigned group of patients, under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer.Completes patient assessments including checking a patient's vitals, physical exam, and obtaining the patient's medical history.Assists in preoperative, postoperative, and relevant health teaching for patients and family.Shares responsibility for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.Participates in team conferences, sharing knowledge, information, and ideas among team members.Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.Performs laboratory tests and therapeutic services.Participates in emergency care.Other duties as assignedRequirements:Current CMA/RMA Certification required.High school diploma or equivalent required.Six months of clinical experience required.BLS/CPR certification required.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.This position has been deemed a "Safety-Sensitive" position; therefore, Morton reserves the right to refuse to hire an applicant or may terminate an employee in a "Safety-Sensitive Position" who tests positive for medical marijuana even if he/she has a valid medical marijuana license.
