Assistant Restaurant Manager
Job Description
The Assistant Manager (AM) supports the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in leading the restaurant team (10-30 employees) and overseeing the financial controls, operations, people development, guest service and satisfaction, and BKC compliance within the restaurant across all shifts. An AM should be able to work long and/or irregular shifts, including extra shifts, as needed, for the proper functioning of the restaurant.SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:PROFITABILITYFollows all cash control and security procedures (e.g. safe counting, cash drawers)Maintains inventory by performing Daily and Weekly inventory inspectionsReceives inventory truck ordersGUESTMotivates and directs Team Members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, fast, and friendly service in clean surroundingsPEOPLEProvides coaching and feedback to Team Members to increase the restaurant team's capabilities and raise restaurant performanceOPERATIONSSmile, be friendly and have a positive attitude at all times.Sets an example for Team Members by working hard to implement shift plan and drive operational resultsDirects efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within established speed of service guidelinesMotivates Team Members during shift on each of the workstationsReviews restaurant results to identify successes and areas for improvementEnsures that restaurant upholds operational and brand standardsPerforms duties of the Team Member when necessaryMaintain a Safe and Clean Restaurant.Execute all SOPs to Ensure Food Safety and Quality.Build and Maintain a Culture that Supports SDG Restaurants Corporate Values.Position Requirements:• Minimum six (six) months Assistant Manager experience in a restaurant setting• High School Diploma or GED preferred• Excellent customer service skills• Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting• Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver's license• Must be at least 18 years of age & authorized to work in the US• ServSafe certification a plus.
