Position Specifics:Department: AccountingReports to: ControllerSupervises: NonePurpose:Performs various accounting duties according to Dealership policy including recording necessary transactions, preparing financial information and reports, and performing basic account and bank reconciliationsResponsibilities:Prepares various daily, monthly, and annual financial reports or statementsRecords routine or recurring transactionsMakes necessary corrections and/or adjustments to receive accurate report informationPerforms basic account and bank reconciliations Coordinates with administrative assistant on accounting duties such as cash deposits and accounts payableSubmits financial trial balances to Deere on a monthly basisCommunicates with others in the organization to answer accounting questions or resolve issuesProcesses payroll for one or more locationsPerforms administrative tasks pertaining to certain Human Resources or personnel managementExperience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:1+ years in an administrative assistant or bookkeeper position is preferredUnderstands accounting fundamentals such as debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and budgetsKnowledge of accounting systemsAbility to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functionsHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyHigh School Diploma or equivalent experienceDegree in an Accounting/Finance discipline preferredPowered by JazzHRV1Ofbsl6wX
