OVERNIGHTS : Sun. (9PM-8AM)/Mon./Tue. 10PM-8AM (10 Hour Shifts) and every other Saturday (9PM-9AM)
Clearr Vission Support Services Inc. Adult Developmental Disabilities Division is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals that have integrity, dedication, compassion and are hard-working. Clearr Vission Support Services Inc. currently has Part- Time Direct Support Professional Overnight positions that support adults with Developmental Disabilities within a community living setting.
Requirements: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
· High school diploma or GED with one year experience in the Human Services field preferred.
· Bachelor's degree in human services preferred but not required.
· Valid driving license, CPR, First Aid, Medication Management and Direct Support Professional training.
· Compassionate, initiative, task oriented and good communication skills.
Job Description and Qualifications: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
· Provide skill building supports to individuals in the performance of daily and independent living skills within their home and community;
· Provide encouragement and motivation to individuals;
· Provide opportunity for the community involvement for individuals;
· Administer medication;
· Support individuals in problem solving, decision making and general information acquisition;
· Complete required paperwork, daily log, incident reports, support logs, medication charts, data collections;
· Supports in the implementation of individual program plan for supports and behavior support activities and desired outcomes;
· Provide appropriate reinforcement and supports in obtaining desired outcomes;
· Provide transportation to recreational activities, doctor's appointments, and employment;
· Help prepare meals, light cleaning, housekeeping, individual's clothes preparation, washing, etc.
