Job Description
This role offers an experienced industrial architecture professional the opportunity to lead design efforts and manage projects for an engineering firm based in Sidney, OH. The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between multiple engineering disciplines, construction partners, and clients, ensuring that industrial architectural projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality. This is a one-year contract-to-hire position with strong potential for long-term growth in a rapidly expanding organization.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee design efforts for industrial architecture projects from concept through completion.
Act as the main point of contact and "go-between" for the different engineering disciplines within the firm, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Track project progress closely to ensure milestones and deadlines are met and adjust plans as needed to keep projects on schedule.
Coordinate with construction companies to align project schedules, resolve conflicts, and maintain smooth project execution across all parties.
Review and provide feedback on design documents and drawings to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
Use Revit and AutoCAD to support design development, documentation, and coordination efforts.
Meet with clients as needed to gather requirements, present design concepts, provide project updates, and address questions or concerns.
Travel to job sites as needed (less than 25% travel) to attend meetings, review progress, and verify that work aligns with design intent.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address design or coordination issues proactively.
Support continuous improvement in design and project management processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
Essential Skills
At least 5 years of experience in industrial architecture design.
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple disciplines on complex projects.
Proficiency with Revit for industrial architectural design and documentation.
Experience in industrial architecture, including design development and design review.
Working knowledge of design tools such as AutoCAD for drafting and coordination.
Ability to manage schedules, track project progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with engineering teams, construction partners, and clients.
Willingness and ability to travel to job sites as needed (less than 25% of the time).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience leading design efforts for industrial architecture projects from early concept through construction.
Experience in industrial design and architectural design within an engineering or architecture firm.
Demonstrated ability to perform detailed design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Comfort working in a rapidly growing organization with a high volume of active projects.
Interest in long-term career growth within a contract-to-hire opportunity.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sidney, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $68.00/hr.
