A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - Cath Lab/n/nJob Details:/n• Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 day shifts)/n• 40 guaranteed hours per week/n• No after hours call and no weekend call requirements/n• Must stay until procedures are complete Monday through Friday/n• May float to inpatient units for tasks if volumes are low/n• 1:1 patient ratio/n• 2 years of experience required, first-timers accepted with cath lab experience/n• Community hospital experience required/n• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH/n• Skills required: circulate, conscious sedation, telemetry, and previous cath lab experience/n• Navy scrubs are provided/n• Use Meditech charting system/n• 16 hours of orientation/n• Daily census of 3-5 patients with approximately 5 visits per day/n• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations/n• Handle diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, lower extremity angiography/angioplasty, pacemaker/defibrillator implants, and loop recorders/n• Operate Toshiba/Canon Cath Lab equipment with Philips documentation system and Fuji Synapse PACS/n• Maximum 7 days of requested time off, with holiday work requirements if RTO falls during holidays/n• Complete up to 8 hours of modules within 1 week of signing/n/nFacility:/nThis 104-bed community hospital features a modern catheterization laboratory equipped with advanced cardiac care technology.
