Director of Student Services
Duties* Under general supervision of the Superintendent, to develop, implement, direct, supervise, andcoordinate the Student Services curriculum and instructional programs for the district and todevelop and implement the district-wide professional development programs, consistent with thedistrict goals as well as applicable laws.* To facilitate the educational programming and placement of students assigned to SpecialEducation and English Learners programs in the District and to provide direct technical assistanceto the formalization and organization of effective service delivery throughout the District.* To provide leadership in program development and improvement.QualificationsProfessional Educator License with Director of Special Education EndorsementMaster's degree in the field of education with endorsement in an area of special education requiredTraining and experience with special education rules, regulations, and laws as well as laws/policiesthat govern English Language LearnersPrior supervisory/administrative experience in special educationExcellent oral/written communication skills and strong interpersonal skillsWorking knowledge of research, best practices and innovation in curriculum and instructionaldesign, evidence-based practices, assessment, coaching, and data analysis* Evidence of ability to facilitate teams and work independently* Knowledgeable of learning theory and best practice for students and adults with special needsand/or disabilities* Evidence of strong facilitation skills with small and large groups and the ability to clearlycommunicate teaching and learning outcomes to teachers and stakeholders* Valid Illinois Driver's LicenseSalary/BenefitsSalary range $170,000 - $220,000, includes Board-paid TRS and annuity, to commensurate with experience.Highly competitive benefits include 100% Board-paid medical, dental, vision, and term life insurance.Link to District/Third Party Online Application Web Pagehttps://www.applitrack.com/lisle202/onlineapp/default.aspx?Category=AdministrationSchool Districthttps://www.lisle202.orgILearn LinkILearnReport Card LinkDistrict Report CardJob Posting Date2/3/2026Start Date7/1/2026
