Key Responsibilities:Prepare, cook, and portion meals according to planned menus and therapeutic diet ordersFollow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards at all timesEnsure meals meet texture modifications and special dietary needs (e.g., diabetic, renal, mechanical soft)Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and food storage areasProperly label, store, and rotate food supplies (FIFO)Monitor and document food temperatures and required dietary logsAssist with meal service and tray preparation as neededCommunicate effectively with dietary staff, nursing, and supervisorsComply with state, federal, and facility dietary regulationsEqual Opportunity Employer
