Match, mix, and control paint colors, quality, and consistency of all types of primers, enamels, and finishing coats. Regular and preventative maintenance of spray guns, mixing equipment, compressors, fans, filters, paint room, etc. Spray steel and aluminum cabinets, channel letters, metal and aluminum sheets, wood panels, etc. of any size or shape with proper primers and top coats. Clarify any questions on work orders, patterns, etc., with sales. All work to comply with company quality standards and complete in goal time. Help train new employees as requested by the supervisor. Meet company quality standards by completing control check sheets and documenting materials and time on work orders accurately. Follow all safety protocols, wearing required protective gear (safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, paint hood, coveralls, respirator, earplugs). o Keep accurate daily job tickets. o Carry out instructions from the supervisor and complete in goal time. Qualifications: o A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Certification from a trade school or apprenticeship program is desired but not mandatory. o Strong knowledge of painting processes, techniques, and materials. o Proficiency in reading drawings, and job specifications. o Ability to operate and maintain related equipment. o Excellent attention to detail and precision. Physical Requirements: o Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.). o Capable of standing for long periods; bending, kneeling, or squatting as needed during tasks.
