Supply Chain Systems Analyst

Position SummaryThe Supply Chain Systems Analyst supports purchasing, inventory management, and ERP system functionality within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate system data, supporting material planning, and improving ERP processes that impact procurement, production, and distribution. The position also partners with operations and IT teams to improve workflow efficiency and system performance.Responsibilities• Support ERP purchasing and inventory applications• Maintain accurate item master, vendor, pricing, lead time, and inventory data• Create and manage purchase orders while monitoring supplier performance• Monitor raw material inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory• Support demand planning and replenishment activities tied to production schedules• Partner with production, warehouse, and inventory teams to ensure accurate system transactions• Analyze inventory trends, variances, and process inefficiencies• Troubleshoot ERP issues related to purchasing, inventory, and order processing• Develop reports and dashboards for KPIs such as inventory turns and supplier performance• Assist with cost reduction initiatives and alternate sourcing strategies• Support ERP enhancements, upgrades, testing, and user training• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory processes• Manage assigned commodities and cross-train across purchasing functions• Perform additional duties as assignedEducation & Experience• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred• 7–10 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, supply chain operations, or ERP systemsSkills & Competencies• Experience with ERP purchasing and inventory modules• Strong understanding of procurement and inventory management in manufacturing• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities• Supplier management and negotiation experience• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills• High attention to detail and data accuracy
