Whether building schools, hospitals, health centers, offices, or airports, we know that what we build in our community matters.What You’ll Do At Monteith ConstructionAs a superintendent, you will ensure the overall day-to-day supervision of field related construction activities. Including ensuring a safe work environment, effective LEAN planning and scheduling, cost control, quality control, coordination of trade partners, as well as strengthening relationships by ensuring the highest customer satisfaction.Build and maintain Owner, Architect, Trade Partner & Supplier relationshipsEnsure that all projects are performed in accordance with contract and quality standardsSchedule and direct the daily activities of work and taking necessary action to assure that the project objectives of cleanliness, safety, price, schedule, quality and process are metMaintain daily paperwork; timecards, field reports, schedule updates, RFIs and E-mail correspondenceImplement project schedules ensuring upcoming events are on track and being proactively attended toPromote and maintain safety, health and cleanliness on the jobsiteConduct and/or attend pre-construction, progress and other project and staff meetingsParticipate in training and other forms of continuous improvement initiativesExperience You Should Have3+ years of experience in supervising commercial constructionAbility to work non-traditional hoursExcellent organizational, Communication, leadership and problem solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office suiteExperience with construction management software (Procore), a plus but not requiredAbility to travelRequired To Thrill At MonteithNo Brilliant Jerks– At Monteith, we want collaborators and teammates.
