Administrative Support Specialist (Advancement, Museum)
The Choice is facilitating an upcoming contract opportunity for our client, a major cultural and educational institution. This position is initially a 6-month contract, with the possibility of additional extensions.
This position will support the Advancement Services team at the organization.
Location: Fully in person, Monday-Friday, downtown DC
Salary: $31.54/hour (plus paid federal holidays)
Initial contract timeframe: April 23, 2026 October 23, 2026, with possibility of extension depending on staffing needs.
Qualifications:
5 years of general administrative support experience
Experienced with PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial system
Experience with Concur is preferred
Previous experience working with a major cultural/educational institution or museum would be a large plus
Job Duties:
Answering the main telephone line and accepting visitors at the front door
Signing for deliveries
Collecting the mail each day and delivering to staff mailboxes
Filing, copies, scanning, form completion, and other administrative tasks
Administrative support for the procurement team
Travel preparation for staff using Concur
Meeting scheduling assistance
Basic data entry into various databases (Moodle, PeopleSoft Financial)
