Production Designer/Drafter

Job Summary We are seeking a talented and innovative Production Designer to join our team. Will work closely with production, sales, and operations teams. Reports directly to the Plant Manager. Responsibilities Develop CAD Models and drawings for both customers and fabricators Utilize AutoDesk software such as AutoDesk Inventor and AutoDesk AutoCAD Work with Plant Manager and shop leaders to establish efficient manufacturing processes Communicate with customers for custom parts and prototyping Design parts and assemblies with manufacturability, cost, and efficiency in mind (DFM/DFA) Support shop floor troubleshooting and design revisions during production Create and maintain bills of materials (BOMs), cut lists, and fabrication documentation Maintain organized CAD files, drawing standards, and revision control Qualifications 5 + years experience with 3D CAD software such as Inventor Production design and drafting degree preferred Familiarity with CNC, laser cutting, press brake, or machining processes preferred 3 + years manufacturing environment experience preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
