In this role, you will be an integral part of our Digital Infrastructure (DI) team, working closely with clients to define their digital strategy and execute innovative solutions that deliver measurable value. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on building scalable, high-performance backend services within the banking domain. This position offers flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid setting, with locations based in Coppell, TX, or New York, NY. As a key contributor, you will participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and troubleshooting, ensuring the delivery of robust and efficient digital solutions.Qualifications8+ years of professional experience in Java development, with a proven track record in banking or financial services domain.Strong expertise in Spring Boot, REST API development, Kafka, and microservices architecture.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Hibernate, and Oracle RDBMS.Solid understanding of IAM, CIAM, risk management, and fraud prevention within banking environments.Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable backend applications.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.Experience working within Agile development methodologies, participating in grooming sessions and sprint planning.Ability to analyze user requirements, define system objectives, and ensure alignment with business goals.Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.ResponsibilitiesContribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.Design and develop high-quality, well-structured, and testable backend code using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.Architect scalable and high-performance backend services tailored to banking and financial services needs.Ensure application security, compliance, and performance standards are met and maintained.Collaborate with QA teams to conduct thorough testing and troubleshoot production and environmental issues promptly.Prepare and release software components, ensuring smooth deployment and minimal disruptions.Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to continuously improve development processes.Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to incorporate innovative solutions.Work closely with clients to understand their digital transformation goals and translate them into technical specifications.BenefitsJoining GrabJobs as a Java Backend Developer offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional growth and personal well-being.
