This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining robust microservices architectures that support our banking and financial solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, particularly within the financial sector, and possess a security-first mindset to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and compliance standards.Qualifications12+ years of progressive experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Extensive hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservice architecture.Proficiency in RESTful Web Services, relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL, and API design and implementation.Experience with API gateways, API security, and coding best practices.Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience working within fast-paced delivery cycles.Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively.Knowledge of TDD, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.Technical expertise in Kafka, Elastic Search, Redis, and AWS cloud services.Experience working with security protocols and implementing secure coding practices.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Spring Boot and related technologies.Implement RESTful APIs and ensure their security, performance, and reliability.Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and QA teams to deliver integrated solutions.Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship, and promote best practices within the development team.Analyze and troubleshoot production issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes through automation and adoption of new tools.Ensure compliance with security standards and data privacy regulations relevant to financial services.Work closely with DevOps teams to facilitate CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment strategies.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.BenefitsAt KnackHook LLC, we value our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports your professional and personal growth.
