Machine Operator/Material Handler

Responsibilities: Part preparation - cutting, grinding, drilling Operate metal fabrication machines and other equipment - Laser Cutter, Brake Press, Bender, etc Assist in maintenance and cleaning of fabrication equipment to ensure optimal functionality and prevent downtown. Material Handling - operate forklift safely bringing parts to welders or unloading and loading trucks. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time. Required Skills: Strong attention to detail with ability to focus on a given task. Enthusiastic about learning new skills and technology. Effective time-management tactical approach to work prioritization. Commitment to continued development through the DeGeest Strong Standard Program. Read, speak, and write the English language. Good communication skills.
