Environmental Analyst
RESPONSIBILITIES:Regulatory Analysis – Understand regulatory requirements (air) and analyze data (Power BI) for permitting and compliance needs.Regulatory Analysis – complete regulatory analyses to determine how a rule applies to new and modified oil and gas facilities.Experience with emissions validation/emissions compliance, Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS).Collaborate directly with engineering, operations, and commercial to deliver business objectives.Communicate effectively to different levels of company on permitting and regulatory requirements.Communicate effectively with outside organizations on permitting objectives and basis.Engage and manage consultants on air permitting projects, as needed.Provide assistance as an air permitting SME in compliance audits and resolving issues concerning environmental compliance, as needed.Maintain a working knowledge of existing and proposed regulations that affect the oil and gas operations through training classes, lunch and learn, and conference attendance.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree is required.B.S. in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related degree program, such as Chemistry, is preferred.Power BI experience.3+ years of air permitting experience or 5+ years of environmental compliance experience.General understanding of state and federal regulations that impact the oil and gas industry.Emissions validation/emissions compliance experience, CEMS, a plus.Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to organize and work self-sufficiently given direction and resources.Intermediate level desktop computer skills using Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer.Physical ability to work in the plant site and accompany regulators on plant tours.
