Having acquired EPA approval and Federal Designation of selected Met One products, the global community took notice and Met One experienced significant international growth.Met One Instruments is now embarking on a strategic initiative to build robust, recurring revenue streams through subscription-based software solutions that complement our industry-leading air quality monitoring instrument portfolio.We are seeking a highly motivated business leader to help drive this transition.Reporting directly to the Director of Product Management based in the US, the Manager of Software Business Development & Digital Solutions will bridge the gap between our hardware engineering, software development, and global customer base to launch and scale our new digital services tier.The positionTitle: Manager of Software Business Development & Digital SolutionsMission / Key responsibilities:Global Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop a complete global commercial go-to-market strategy, including defining pricing models, feature sets, and managing a comprehensive development roadmap for all software offerings.Product Development & Cloud Integration: Translate regulatory and client requirements into effective technology strategies, specifically focusing on migrating customers from traditional DAS to modern cloud solutions and IoT platforms.Customer & Developer Liaison: Engage directly with customers and provide targeted feedback to software developers, leading to improved products that resolve key client challenges.Revenue & Partnership Growth: Drive revenue growth by launching new software products, refining marketing strategies, and building strong distributor and stakeholder partnerships across diverse regions.Hardware-to-Software Synergy: Ensure all software offerings integrate flawlessly with regulatory-grade and sensor-based gas and particulate monitors, as well as cellular and satellite communications systems.Project Delivery & Collaboration: Utilize a collaborative approach to solve technical challenges, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative monitoring solutions.Team: The Manager of Software Business Development & Digital Solutions will lead projects, collaborating with a global, cross-functional team of professionals across business development, sales/marketing, product management, and engineering & technical support staff.Location: Since Acoem operates globally, the position can be remote, requiring frequent business trips (up to 50%) dedicated to meeting with key clients and partners or professional events. Priority will be given to candidates located in the US, Brazil, France, Germany, Switzerland or Sweden.Candidate profileThe successful candidate will bring:Industry Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in air quality and meteorological monitoring, integrated monitoring system design, and product development.Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of both regulatory-grade and sensor-based monitoring instrumentation, as well as data acquisition, telemetry, and remote power systems.Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated track record of driving business growth, managing product lifecycles, and overseeing project delivery for diverse client bases across industry, government, or private sectors.Communication Skills: Proven ability to translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into actionable product strategies and clear customer communications.Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.Hardware Familiarity: Prior hands-on experience or factory-certified training with environmental monitoring equipment is highly preferred.We are looking for someone who is:Entrepreneurial and highly self-motivatedComfortable operating in lean and agile organizationsResults-driven, autonomous, and accountablePassionate about technology, customer success, and business developmentEnergized by the opportunity to influence company growth and market expansion
