Service Technician

Duties and Responsibilities Provide maintenance and repair for the printer and small equipment portfolio. Coordinate logistics and internal communication for equipment demos. Coordinate, calendar, and follow up on all customer and application calls. Identify and troubleshoot software and hardware issues with sales reps, customers, and internal team members for technical service and repair issues. Responsible for day-to-day activities involving StatSwap including creating customer contracts as well as logistics for swaps and loaners. Responsible for logistics and maintenance of demo and rental Communicate with equipment manufacturer support for advanced troubleshooting and repairs. Manage the service spare parts, demo, swap and loaner inventory. Test hardware and software update as required. Provide technical documentation for service and repair including technical service bulletins as needed. Provide written and practical training to customers and new employees as required. Import and export sales and pricing information into Asset Tracking Software and other systems as required. Take after-hour calls until 6:00pm CST, when necessary. Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required 2 years repair experience in a similar or transferable role. Dedicated work from the McKinney repair center office Monday-Friday. Strong electromechanical aptitude. Advanced experience with computer software, drivers, networking. Knowledge of pathology and laboratory diagnostics Must have high school diploma Flexibility to undertake US and international travel when required. Must have US passport. Detail oriented, technologically savvy, good communication skills, and time management. Knowledge of Epicor preferred. Good communication and willingness to learn. Capability to capture facts and to refine them in a simplified way. Proactive and enthusiastic team player with a highly analytical, Structured, and result- oriented work style.
