Bridge Project Manager
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Bridge Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of bridge and transportation structures projects throughout Massachusetts. This role is responsible for full project lifecycle management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage bridge and structural projects from preconstruction through closeout, including scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safetyCoordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal field teamsOversee project budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, change management, and monthly reportingDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules; proactively manage risks and delaysEnsure compliance with MassDOT, FHWA, and applicable state and federal requirementsLead subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and performance managementSupport constructability reviews, value engineering, and means‑and‑methods planningMaintain strong field presence and promote a culture of safety and accountabilityRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field5+ years of experience managing bridge, highway, or heavy civil structures projectsStrong knowledge of concrete, steel, foundations, and rehabilitation workFamiliarity with MassDOT standards, specifications, and public‑sector delivery methodsProficiency with project controls, scheduling software, and cost management toolsExcellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skillsPreferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) license or EITExperience with Design‑Build, CM/GC, or traditional design‑bid‑build deliveryPrior work on railroad, marine, or accelerated bridge construction (ABC) projectsWhat We OfferOpportunity to manage high‑impact infrastructure projects across MassachusettsCollaborative team environment with strong field and leadership supportCompetitive compensation package, benefits, and long‑term growth potential
