And our team is global: we employ team members across the US and EMEA.ResponsibilitiesEnsure consistent and accurate financial accounting and reportingPlay a key role in implementation of a new ERP system to support growth of the businessAssist with creation and tracking of company and department budgetsMaintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implement a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize riskOversee the production of periodic financial reports; ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standardsManage outsourced accountants in subsidiary offices; assist with hiring and development of a US accounting and finance teamRecommend actions and benchmarks that will be used to measure the Company's performanceEnsure compliance with tax and other statutory reportingPerform other related duties as necessary or assignedQualificationsCPA Certification strongly preferredBachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required7+ years' relevant work experience in accounting with increasing responsibilityComplete understanding of US GAAPProficient ERP experience (5+ Years)Proficient Excel ExperienceExperience with tax and other statutory complianceExperience with international operations and consolidationsMelbourne/Orlando, Florida candidate preferred but will consider remote for highly qualified candidates.
