MUST BE A US CITIZEN (ITAR REQUIREMENT).Support a Fortune 500 Aero Defense company as an Tool Engineer.JOB DESCRIPTIONLooking for an Engineer Tool 2 to support our Tool design department. As a member of the Tool Design department, you’ll get to support tool designs for manufacturing on F35 and Global Hawk. This position will be on-site at Palmdale, CA.ResponsibilitiesDesigns industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements.Basic Qualifications for Engineer Tool 2• 3+ years of Catia design experience (high proficiency in 3D modeling and detailing).• Familiarity with Industry Standards related to Detailed Drawing Requirements, ANSI, ISO, etc.• Knowledgeable in designing castings, stampings and turned components• GD&T knowledge (it’s understanding and usage) in order to properly apply the rules to drawings• Efficient in writing, communication and ability to manage technical details• Proficient with Microsoft office products - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
