Primary PurposeThe Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for the care, prevention and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses of members of all district athletic teams.QualificationsEducation/Certification:Bachelor's degreeValid license from Texas Advisory Board of Athletic TrainersSpecial Knowledge/SkillsAbility to provide injury prevention and rehabilitation servicesAbility to provide emergency careKnowledge of therapeutic modalities and ability to treat student athletesAbility to instruct and supervise student athletes and assistantsExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience1 year of experience as an athletic trainerSalary: AP PG4/210 daysStarting: $68,313
