We take pride in our diverse project portfolio, encompassing Corporate Interiors & Lobbies, Hospitality, Retail, Educational, Health & Fitness, Medical, Ground-up, and Multi-Family Residential, including Building Amenities.Job Summary:The Assistant Project Managers main priority is to effectively manage a Project’s Document Control and correspondence between the Design Team and all subcontractors.Key Responsibilities:Review submittals for compliance with specifications prior to submission to the design teamManage all submittals and shop drawings on Procore, including distribution to sub-contractors and design teamManage RFIs and RFI process, including distribution to all relevant trades and follow-up for cost implicationsMaintain Microsoft project schedules and monitor progress for all trades in coordination with project teamPrepare all change orders for review by project manager and submit to ownerDistribute and track all subcontractor change ordersCollect and review monthly subcontractor billings with Project ManagerWork with accounting team to maintain updated cost informationDistribute and maintain the construction progress reporting to client during weekly project meeting with Project ManagerDistribute weekly meeting package and meeting minutes for weekly project meetingSupervise Assistant Engineers, Engineering Assistants, Plan Clerks, and Interns, including yearly review of performanceOversee the close-out process. Prepare final records for the project, such as Requests for Information (RFIs), close-out records, warranties, as-builts, Operations and Maintenance manuals (OMs), attic stock, and spare parts, and evaluate information to ensure compliance with contract documents.Maintain and update reports such as General Conditions items, labor, safety, change order logs, and quality controlCreate and issue bulletin and addendum packages as required for changes within project, collect proposals from subcontractorsEngage in weekly walk-throughs of project site and provide field report with photosAssist the project manager in submittals, RFIs, scheduling, requisitions, meetings, and all project management operationsProfessional Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree2-4 years of general contracting and construction management experienceWesbuilt considers applicants who are new to the industry with either a Project Management or Business backgroundComprehends construction drawings, specifications, and the pre-construction processKey Skills & Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel and Project)Software that will require proficiency once on-boarded includes Procore Construction Management Software and BIMHave strong client relations skills and a collaborative dispositionWesbuilt is an Equal Opportunity EmployerWe celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
