Our culture is built on collaboration, professional growth, and a genuine commitment to improving the communities we serve.As we continue to expand our presence in New York-including the opening of our new Buffalo office later this year-we're looking for an experienced Environmental Engineer / Project Manager to join our team.Position Overview:The Environmental Engineer / Project Manager will lead and manage a variety of environmental consulting projects, including site investigations, remediation programs, regulatory compliance, and environmental due diligence. This role combines technical expertise with client management, team leadership, and project delivery responsibilities.Candidates may work from our established Clifton Park, NY office or join us as a foundational team member in Buffalo, NY as we launch our new location.Key Responsibilities:Manage environmental projects from proposal through completion, ensuring technical quality, budget control, and client satisfactionLead site investigation and remediation efforts, including planning, field oversight, data interpretation, and reportingOversee environmental due diligence projects (Phase I/II ESAs) and regulatory compliance programsServe as primary client contact, maintaining strong relationships and identifying opportunities for expanded servicesProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staffCoordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure seamless project executionPrepare technical reports, work plans, proposals, and regulatory submittalsSupport business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the New York regionQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)6+ years of relevant environmental consulting experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframeStrong understanding of federal and New York State environmental regulationsDemonstrated experience managing environmental projects and client relationshipsExcellent communication, organizational, and leadership skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environmentWillingness to travel regionally for project needsWhy HRP?Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefitsFlexible work environment with opportunities for hybrid schedulesProfessional development support, including training and licensure assistanceA collaborative culture that values innovation, integrity, and employee well-beingThe opportunity to play a key role in establishing and growing our new Buffalo officeBenefits & Company Culture:HRP Associates, Inc.'s vision relies on the expertise of our dedicated professionals who provide excellent consultation with our loyal clientele.
