Practice Setting: Inpatient psychiatric unit with assigned patient rounding. Patients Per Shift: 8-12 patients per day. Bed Capacity: 33 beds in the psychiatric department. Requirements: Board Certification: Active board certification in psychiatry is required. Licensure: Must hold an active North Carolina medical license. Certifications: Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. Credentialing: Streamlined credentialing process with an estimated timeframe of 30 days. Practice Details: Provide care to patients with various psychiatric conditions, including: Anxiety and affective disorders Psychotic and personality disorders Organic disorders and more Involvement in treatment techniques such as pharmacotherapy, group therapy, and family therapy. No outpatient responsibilities. Support and Facility Features: Adequate support staff, including registered nurses, medical assistants, and advanced practice providers. Temporary privileges are available to expedite your start. Facility is not stroke-certified and does not require teaching or supervision of residents.
