In this role, you'll guide the design and development of backend services, modern React frontends, and AWS-based infrastructure while mentoring engineers and shaping technical strategy. You'll work closely with product, operations, and customer stakeholders to translate business needs into high-quality, resilient, and well-tested software solutions.Location: Hybrid, in our Lake Mary office a minimum of 3 days per week.What You'll DoCollaborate with product team, business operations, and customers to understand and develop product requirementsDesign, architect, and lead the development of new full stack applications, APIs, and solutionsMentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-makingParticipate in code reviews and maintain engineering standardsDevelop responsive, user-friendly React frontend interfacesBuild robust backend services with comprehensive test coverageOptimize database performance and manage complex data relationshipsArchitect and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWSWrite and maintain automated unit and integration testsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutionsWhat You Bring12+ years of overall experience, of which at least 4-5 years as a team leader/delivery leadStrong expertise in Java, Scala, or KotlinStrong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and related projectsFrontend development experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScriptAdvanced SQL skills with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQLSignificant hands-on experience building and operating cloud native applications on AWS.Testing expertise including automated unit and integration testingExperience with distributed systems and microservices architectureStrong understanding of software engineering best practicesPreferredExperience with Terraform for infrastructure as codeEnd-to-end testing experience with frameworks like Playwright or CypressKnowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesBackground in high-traffic, production environmentsHow to applyIf you are interested in this role, then we'd love to hear from you.
