Job Description Estimator - Civil ConstructionPrepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, including quantities, labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricingReview project plans, specifications, and contract documents to assess scope and riskPerform quantity take-offs for earthwork, utilities, paving, concrete, drainage, and related civil workSolicit, evaluate, and negotiate bids from subcontractors and suppliersDevelop project budgets and assist with value engineering initiativesIdentify potential cost risks and opportunities during the bid processMaintain historical cost data and track market trends and pricing fluctuationsCollaborate with project managers during project handoff to ensure estimate accuracySupport change order pricing and post-bid reviews when requiredEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulationsGeneral knowledge of Building and Construction codes MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
