Lifeguard/Swim Instructor

Are you passionate about swimming, working with kids, and spending your summer in a fun, energetic camp environment? Creative Summer at the Holton-Arms School is looking for enthusiastic and experienced Lifeguards/Swim Instructors to join our aquatics team this summer!We are seeking individuals who enjoy working with children ages 6–13 and have prior swim team, coaching, teaching, or lifeguarding experience. Our swim staff plays an important role in helping campers build confidence in the water, improve their swim skills, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.As part of our aquatics team, you will:Teach swimming fundamentals and stroke developmentSupervise campers during swim periods and recreational swimMaintain a safe and positive pool environmentWork collaboratively with a team of 12–14 swim staff membersServe as a mentor and role model for campersAll applicants must hold current:CPR/First Aid CertificationRed Cross Lifeguard CertificationOur program takes place in Holton-Arms’ indoor swimming facility and offers a structured, team-oriented atmosphere with plenty of support and camaraderie among staff.About Creative SummerCreative Summer is a co-ed day camp located at the Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, MD, offering programs in Arts, Sports, Theater, Academics, and more. Camp runs for six weeks from June 21 – July 31, with paid staff orientation taking place June 15–18.
