Travel RN - Psychiatric

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Geriatric Psychiatric unit position requiring CPI certification and a minimum of one year of nursing experience.Job Details• Works in a Geriatric Psychiatric inpatient unit within a hospital setting,• Day shift schedule, working 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week),• Floating within all facilities in the health system is required, including potentially Med/Surg units,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact (eNLC) RN license,• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required,• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) certification required,• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required,• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; BSN from a board-approved program preferred,• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,• Strong verbal and written communication skills,• Basic computer skills required,Additional Information• Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, documenting care, administering medications, monitoring physiological data, assisting with procedures, and coordinating discharge planning,• Delegates tasks to support staff and makes referrals to appropriate personnel as needed,• Candidate must have CPI certification in hand at the time of consideration,• All certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA),• Travelers who have previously worked at this health system may return after a 6-month separation period; contracts are limited to one extension for a maximum of 26 weeks total unless otherwise agreed upon,
