Hospice Aide/CNA

The position requires a reliable vehicle and travel to patients in facilities in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs.Responsibilities:- Provide compassionate care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or care facilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure- Administer basic life support and first aid when necessary- Assist with physical examinations under the direction of healthcare professionals- Support patients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patientsQualifications:- Certification as a Hospice Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures- Experience in providing care for patients in various settings such as ICU, pediatrics, senior care- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families- Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety protocols- Physical ability to lift and move patients safelyJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diemBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:Long term careNursing homeRehabilitation center
