# Regulatory Requirements Analyst## About the RoleMolina Healthcare is seeking a **Regulatory Requirements Analyst** to support the accurate and timely intake, interpretation, and management of regulatory and functional requirements related to coverage, reimbursement, processing, and health plan systems. The role works closely with Health Plans, Product Teams, Corporate Operations, subject matter experts, and governance committees to ensure requirements are clearly documented, interpreted, aligned, and traceable through solution development and maintenance.This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to synthesize complex regulatory requirements, and experience working in managed care, health insurance, or a directly adjacent field. The role can be performed remotely and requires collaboration across multiple states, lines of business, and time zones.## Key Responsibilities* Develop and maintain requirement documentation covering coverage, reimbursement, processing, and applicable system changes.* Ensure requirements align with regulatory baseline requirements and health plan-developed requirements.* Monitor relevant sources and ensure regulatory updates are accurately reflected.* Lead coordinated requirement development, ongoing interpretation, management reviews, committee processes, and associated timelines.* Analyze issues and identify root causes related to state requirements and support problem management.* Communicate requirement interpretations and changes to Health Plans, Product Teams, and impacted corporate functional areas.* Support requirement alignment, approvals, and solution traceability through regular meetings and operational processes.* Provide support for requirement interpretation inconsistencies and complaints.* Prepare reporting to keep Health Plans, Product Teams, and leadership informed of work efforts and potential financial impacts from prospective or retrospective requirement changes.* Work with Operations Leadership and Plan Support functions to review compliance-related issues for benefit planning.* Maintain relationships with Health Plans, Product Teams, and Corporate Operations to ensure end-to-end business requirements are documented and clearly interpreted.* Manage multiple lines of business, states, and requirement areas while meeting aggressive timelines.## Required Qualifications* **2+ years of experience** in a managed care organization, health insurance, or directly adjacent field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.* Knowledge of policy and government legislative review.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including **Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams**.* Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a dynamic and autonomous environment.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to synthesize large and complex requirements concisely.* Ability to organize and maintain regulatory data, including real-time policy changes.* Ability to work independently in a remote environment.* Ability to collaborate with teams across different time zones.## Preferred Qualifications* Basic **SQL** knowledge.* Project implementation experience.* Knowledge of federal regulatory policy resources, including **Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)** and the **Affordable Care Act (ACA)**.* Medical Coding certification.## Skills & Competencies* Regulatory Requirements Analysis* Health Insurance / Managed Care* Coverage & Reimbursement Requirements* Regulatory & Legislative Review* Requirements Documentation* Business Analysis* Root Cause Analysis* Problem Management* Regulatory Data Management* Stakeholder Communication* Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams* SQL* Project Implementation## Work Arrangement* **Remote*** Collaboration across multiple states, lines of business, and time zones.## Compensation & BenefitsMolina Healthcare offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.## About Molina HealthcareMolina Healthcare is a healthcare organization operating in the managed care and health insurance sector.
