Bogin, Munns & Munns is a full-service law firm serving Greater Central Florida for more than 40 years, with 40+ attorneys across 11 offices throughout Central Florida.We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Collections / Lien Foreclosure Attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join our Orlando office.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and is ready to independently manage a high-volume caseload while representing one of the firm’s largest corporate clients.Position OverviewThe ideal candidate will have experience in:Collections litigationMechanic’s lien foreclosures (Plaintiff’s side)High-volume civil litigationCorporate client representationA strong understanding of Chapter 713, Florida Statutes (mechanic’s liens) is required. Knowledge of Chapter 48, Florida Statutes, including locating and serving difficult-to-find individuals for service of process, is also required.Experience with general construction litigation principles is helpful, but not required.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal representation in collections and mechanic’s lien foreclosure mattersReview, revise, and record mechanic’s liens in the public recordPrepare demand letters and related pre-suit documentationManage all phases of litigation from pre-suit through resolutionDraft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and settlement agreementsAttend hearings, mediations, and bench trialsCommunicate directly with clients regarding legal strategy and case updatesPrepare detailed legal opinion letters as neededSupervise and review staff work product prior to finalizationPerformance ExpectationsMinimum 1,800 billable hours annuallyMinimum $300,000 in receiptsManage deadlines and budgets effectivelyCollaborate with colleagues to support client matters and projectsMaintain accurate and up-to-date case filesQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive Florida Bar license3–5 years of litigation experienceExperience in collections, lien foreclosure, or high-volume civil litigation preferredFirst-chair bench trial experience requiredStrong motion practice, mediation, and hearing experienceExcellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skillsHighly organized with strong time management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Spanish fluency is a plusPreferred ExperienceFilevineLead DocketCompensation & BenefitsCompensation is negotiable and based on experience, including creative packages with:SalaryBonusesCommissionsBenefits include:401(k) + matchingHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insuranceEmployee assistance programPaid time offWork Location📍 Downtown Orlando, FL 32801This is an onsite position with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule after six (6) months.
