Financial Controller

Hybrid | Shelton, CT | $160-180k + bonus (depending on experience)Why This Financial Controller Position?• Join a fast-growing, tech-enabled marketing organization experiencing significant expansion• High-visibility opportunity with direct exposure to executive leadership and the ability to make a meaningful impact on the business• Entrepreneurial, collaborative culture that values autonomy, innovation, and professional growth• Strong benefits package including unlimited PTO, Summer Fridays, 401(k) with Safe Harbor match, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and hybrid flexibilityKey Responsibilities of the Financial Controller• Oversee the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the organization• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial reporting in a hands-on capacity• Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights, reporting, and strategic decision support• Coordinate audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors• Oversee tax compliance across federal, state, and local jurisdictions• Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and financial automation initiatives• Mentor and develop members of the accounting and finance teamQualifications of the Financial Controller• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field• CPA preferred• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with leadership responsibilities• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls• Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment• Proficiency with NetSuite and strong Excel skills• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills#LI-GW1#LI-Hybrid#INMAY2026
