Role Overview
We are looking for a high-energy Sales Technician to drive residential growth for our fiber-to-the-home and coax internet services. You won't just be "selling"; you will be a local consultant helping neighbors upgrade to superior connectivity. This is a boots-on-the-ground role for a closer who thrives on autonomy and uncapped commission.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Prospecting: Execute daily door-to-door canvassing in assigned territories to identify and close new residential customers.
- Technical Consulting: Clearly explain the benefits of Symmetrical Fiber vs. traditional Coax, helping customers understand bandwidth, latency, and reliability.
- On-the-Spot Closing: Manage the full sales cycle from initial knock to digital contract signing and scheduling the installation.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor pricing and pain points (e.g., data caps or price hikes) to position our service as the premium choice.
- Lead Management: Utilize our CRM to track leads, follow-ups, and daily production metrics.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in D2D sales, telecommunications, or home services is a major plus, but a "student of the game" mentality is most important.
- Communication: Ability to build instant rapport with diverse homeowners and simplify complex technical terms.
- Resilience: A thick skin and the "next door" mentality—viewing every "no" as one step closer to a "yes."
- Mobility: Must be comfortable walking/standing for extended periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Schedule: Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when homeowners are most likely to be available.
