SSD Test Engineer

Title: SSD Test Engineer Work location: San Jose CA – Hybrid 3 days in office6+ months contracts Description:Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose office 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your timeConduct OCP compliance tests for our datacenter SSDsConduct failure analysis from host\system side, collect debug information such as device logs as well as bus traces for further analysisDevelop Linux or Windows based test cases for FW feature validationProvide support at OEM sites to collect logs or bus traces for failure analysisRequirements:What You Bring BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar majors, and 5 years of relevant experience; or a MS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar majors with 3 years of relevant experience is required Hands-on experience with system or device-level issue analysis Hands-on experience with Storage protocol (e.g. NVMe\PCIe) and logical/signal analyzers Programming/scripting skills (Perl, Shell or Python is preferred) Comfortable working in a multi-functional team Familiar with OCP spec is a plus Strong experience with test case development is a plus Experience with system or device-level performance analysis You’re inclusive, adapting your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people An avid learner, you approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding.
