High School Certified LPN - School in Anderson, SC

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to provide dedicated one-on-one care for a high school student in Anderson, SC. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a cognitively high-functioning student who is paralyzed and requires specialized nursing support during the school week.Key Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a high school student with complex medical needs.Manage ventilator care and other skilled nursing tasks as required.Support the student throughout the school day, ensuring health and safety.Accompany the student on the school bus to and from school.Collaborate with educators and staff to maintain a conducive learning environment.Qualifications and Experience:Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification is required.Experience with ventilator care preferred.Ability to provide one-on-one nursing care in a school setting.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Valid license to practice nursing in the state.Schedule and Location:Part-time, approximately 30 hours per week.Student attends school Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; Wednesdays off.Position based in Anderson, SC.Bus riding with the student is a component of the role.
