EnterpriseAbout the RoleThe Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Data and Platform Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all teams within the data and platform portfolio, enhancing their capability and capacity to support the company's growth plans, and driving the data and platform strategy as well as the development of relevant applications. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, a strong leader with excellent people management skills, and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams. The SVP will also be at the forefront of the AI strategy, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring the company stays ahead of industry trends.Candidates for this position should be educated to a Bachelor's degree level, with at least 15 years of experience in a leadership role in data engineering or a related field, demonstrating international expertise. Strong technical proficiency in data engineering technologies and tools, data management principles, and data security best practices is essential. The role involves extensive collaboration with executive leadership, mentoring and coordinating AI initiatives, and representing the organization externally. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, skilled at managing third-party providers, and experienced in commercial management and negotiations.
