Care is delivered in accordance with the standards and philosophy of the Nursing Services Department, as well as all hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.This position is ideal for individuals pursuing careers in nursing, healthcare, patient care, or clinical support roles.What You’ll DoAs a Hospital Patient Care Technician, you will assist the clinical care team with important direct patient care duties, including: Supporting nurses with basic patient care needs and comfort measures Taking and documenting vital signs accurately Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) as directed by nursing staff Monitoring patients and communicating observations to Registered Nurses Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment Providing compassionate customer service to patients and families Documenting patient information using electronic medical record systemsYour role helps ensure patients receive attentive, safe, and supportive care.Minimum QualificationsEducation High School Diploma or GED required Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program strongly preferredExperience Minimum one year of acute care experience or medical surgical clinical experience preferredLicensure & Certification BLS Certification – Healthcare Provider required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification strongly preferredSkills & CompetenciesSuccessful candidates will demonstrate: Ability to accurately take and record vital signs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent customer service and patient care skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment Basic computer and electronic documentation skills Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Ability to maintain confidential patient information (HIPAA compliance)Why Join Our TeamWorking as a Patient Care Technician / CNA provides valuable clinical experience while making a real difference in patients’ lives.
