Cashier/Customer Service
Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and handling cash transactions. If you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their inquiries or concerns
- Process sales transactions accurately using a cash register
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
-Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong sales skills with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities
- Experience operating a cash register and handling cash & lottery transactions
- Knowledge of retail math for calculating discounts, taxes, and change
- Proficiency in using technology for sales transactions (e.g., barcode scanners)
- Ability to speak multiple languages
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
