Neurosurgery NP/PA

Neurosurgical NP/PAMinneapolis, MNPark Nicollet Clinic is seeking a full-time Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Neurosurgery practice.This position works collaboratively with the Neurosurgeons and patient care teams, both in clinic and in the hospital. A Park Nicollet NP/PA will receive a wide range of experiences, offering potential for developing excellent, high quality patient care and will gain exposure to a variety of areas of the Park Nicollet System. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited program. One to two years' experience in a surgical specialty required. Neurosurgical experience would be helpful.Responsibilities include: clinic practice, consisting of both new patient consults and follow up return visits; possible first assist in the operating room; hospital rounding and consults; Emergency Center consults. Strong documentation and communication skills required. In conjunction with the supervising neurosurgeon, the neurosurgery NP/PA collaborates on new patient consults to determine if a surgical intervention is indicated. The NP/PA also runs an independent clinic.
