About the job Engagement Manager - Analytics & Insights (QSR / Restaurant Domain) Lead Engagement Manager - Analytics & Insights (QSR / Restaurant Domain/Travel/Hospitality)Location: New York City, NY (2-3 days in office/week)Experience: 7+ yearsDomain Preference: QSR / Restaurant / Food Services / Travel & Leisure / HospitalityRole OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Analytics & Insights Lead with a strong consultative mindset and experience in the QSR/restaurant domain. This role is highly client-facing and requires the ability to assess enterprise performance frameworks, generate actionable insights, and partner with executive and functional leaders to drive data-informed decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end analytics and insights engagements for QSR/restaurant clients, with a focus on enterprise performance management and decision supportConduct comprehensive as-is assessments of existing enterprise KPIs to evaluate relevance, effectiveness, and gapsPartner with executive leadership to define critical metrics for enterprise-level oversight and collaborate with functional leaders to cascade and operationalize KPIs across the organizationBenchmark KPIs against QSR/restaurant industry best practices and peer organizations to identify improvement opportunitiesDefine and implement a standardized KPI hierarchy spanning enterprise (executive) and functional domains such as Supply Chain, Finance, and OperationsCollaborate with client teams to identify required data elements, assess data availability and quality, and ensure KPI feasibilityTranslate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendationsOwn client communication, including executive readouts, workshops, and ongoing stakeholder engagementDevelop and deliver crisp, impactful presentations for senior audiencesCollaborate with internal data engineering, BI, and data science teams to ensure high-quality deliverySupport pre-sales activities, including client interviews, solution shaping, and proposal developmentDefine, own, and drive the analytics roadmap, aligning data initiatives with business priorities and ensuring a clear path from data to measurable business impactEstablish standard data analytics practices, including governance, reporting standards, and insight generation frameworks, to ensure consistency, scalability, and quality across analytics deliverablesRequired Qualifications7+ years of experience in analytics, insights, BI, or consulting rolesStrong exposure to the QSR/restaurant or food services domain (preferred)Proven ability to define and operationalize KPI frameworks at an enterprise levelExcellent communication and storytelling skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadershipStrong consultative approach with the ability to influence and advise stakeholdersClient-ready presence with experience leading executive discussions and interviewsExperience with analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
