We are the Clean Air Company.Job SummaryThis position will support the Business and Plant Controller and be involved with the monthly close process including balance sheet account reconciliations. This position will also be responsible for account analysis and the preparation of internal reports including KPIs. Additionally, ad hoc projects will be assigned that provide exposure to all aspects of the Finance department.This position has a broad role that can be impacted by the person's preferences and proven abilities. A successful candidate will be a high-energy person with a desire to learn and grow. The person must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with the organization.Responsibilities:General closing responsibilities with validation of balance sheet accounts, including monthly reconciliationsPreparation of standard reports (weekly/monthly) including forecasts and variance analysis for company packagesDocument and account for project estimates in coordination with operationsRecording of journal entriesMaintain fixed assets and record depreciationSupport accounting and finance management team with ad hoc assignmentsProvide year end audit supportAssist with inventory physical observationsAssist with documenting and improving internal control processesPerforms other duties as assignedExperience and Education:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting as a minimum, but a Master's Degree in Accounting a plusMinimum 3 year experience in industry, preferably a manufacturing environment or3-5 years of Public accounting experience from large firmKnowledge of Accounting systems and principlesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with an integrated ERP requiredPercentage-of-completion accounting experience preferredCPA a positiveWhat we offer is more than just a job...An opportunity to be part of a truly innovative and fast-growing international company.A team-focused work environment where your efforts won't go unnoticed or unappreciated.Competitive compensation and benefits including PTO, health care insurance, 401K, disability, and life insurance.
